Summary: This records a tax-free gift of land for offerings (to the deity) during the midnight service (in the temple) by the assembly (perumakkaḷ) of Paḻaya Śembiyaṉ-Mahādēvi-chaturvēdimaṅgalam, a brahmadēya on the southern bank (of the Kāvēri). The mention of the village which is named after the mother of king Uttama-Chōḷa makes the record assignable to the next king after him, viz., Rājarāja I.
