(1–2) Twentieth year of the victorious king Macīntiraparumaṉ.1

(2–12) [This is the] stone of Vīravar,2 the son [of] Pālācirikar, who rules (āḷum) [in] Ciṟuppāl, [who fell] at the time of seizing cattle [in] Kaṭṭaiyūr in Mīvēṇāṭu.

Commentary

Pālācirikar, ruler of Ciṟuppāl = Pālāyiriyar, ruler of Ciṟuppāl (see inscription Pallava 407). = Pālāciriru, the ruler of Ciṟuppāḻ (see inscription Pallava 409).
