Translation

⟨1–5⟩ … [This is] the stone [of] he who fell (paṭṭāru¹) when Kuṉṟakkaṭṭi, a relative (makkaḷ) [of] …, seized cattle … when being (iruntu) … in Mēṟkoṉṟaināṭu, on the northern bank of the Peṇṇai [river].
