Bibliography
First reported (in Burmese) in ASB with possible readings siri mita raya, sirimitara ya or sirimapataraya. Also reported in Aung-Thaw1968a, which cites U Bo Kay’s correct reading, saṁgha siri. Aung-Thaw1968b (= Aung-Thaw1993), repeats more or less the same material in Burmese and Aung Thaw [Aoṅ sau] 1972, p. 4 (in English), dates the sealing from the 2nd century. Griffiths-Lammerts2015 note the early date of the artifact, while recognizing the possibility of its having been imported.

The author began with <seg type="graphemic">siri</seg> and failed to recognize the swastika, reading it as <seg type="graphemic">mita</seg> instead. He also read the final <seg type="graphemic">gh</seg> as <seg type="graphemic">y</seg>. </p>
