A reading baḍ(h)ayivihāra cannot be ruled out; baḍha-° is more likely than baḍa-°. This is the only name of a monastery identifiable in the inscriptions from Kanaganahalli. The “bodhikavihāra” (MASI, p. 324b) does not exist.” — ⟨1⟩ therāna ⬦ therā(ṇ)a N+vH. — ⟨1⟩ bhayatahaghāna ⬦ bhayata haghāna N+vH. — ⟨1⟩ Atevā(sisa)Atevā[si](sa) N+vH. — ⟨1⟩ (de)yadha(ṁ)ma ⬦ (de)yadhama N+vH. — ⟨1⟩ Ama(p)i[tūhi _]Am(āp)i […] N+vH. — ⟨1⟩ [sava](sa)[na ca _ h](i)[tasughatha][…](na)[…] N+vH • This tentative reconstruction, based on the parallel in KnI0008 — with which this inscription also shares the rare compound Amāpitūhi — is consistent with the number of missing akṣaras.
