⟨1⟩ (p)[o]kuḍurakasa mah(i)s(eka)sa vi(ma)la[sa dānaṁ] paṭo

Apparatus

⟨1⟩ mah(i)s(eka)sa vi(ma)la[sa dānaṁ]mah(i)s[eka]sa va [2+] la[sa deyadhama] N+vH • The name Vimala is attested in Tsukamoto Keishō 塚本啓祥 1996, № Sanc 225. There is only the space for three missing akṣaras between the preserved la and the pa, so the reconstruction dānaṁ seems preferable to deyadhama.

Translation by Vincent Tournier

A slab: the gift of Vimala from Pokuḍura, from the Mahisa (country).

Commentary

On the place name Pokuḍura, see also KnI 67.
