Translation
This is the memorial of rakryān juru Paṅambat who, in (a year that can be expressed as) royal poet, five, square (i.e., in the year 854 Śaka) ordered to bring the Sunda king home.

Dit is het gedenkstuk (houdende) het bevel van den Rakryan Juru Pangambat (uitgevaardigd) in (het jaar) 854 (942 A.D.) en verordineerend, dat de vorst van Sunda in zijn vroegeren staat zal worden hersteld.

Edited by Bosch (1941); revised by Hasan Djafar (1991). This digitial edition offers only slight precisions (addition of one virāma and punctuation, specification of initial vowel as akṣara vowel) and choices of reading have been made based on the same photo OD 6888 that was used also by Bosch and Hasan Djafar. The photo is of somewhat mediocre quality, so the edition cannot presently be verified any further. The OD estampage 2614 is not accessible.

<p>Bosch (<bibl rend="omitname"><ptr target="bib:Bosch1941_02"/><citedRange unit="page">49</citedRange></bibl>) reported that the stone on which this inscription is engraved was reported to the Dutch Archaelogical Service as standing on the edge of a paddy field in the <foreign>desa</foreign> Kebon Kopi (Leuwiliang, Buitenzorg), near the location of wellknown inscription of King Purnawarman. It has subsequently gone missing and its whereabouts are unknown since many decades.</p>
<p>The reading of the text is still to uncertain on too many points to propose a translation with any degree of confidence. The expression <foreign>kavi haji</foreign>, here apparently expressing the number 8, is reminiscent of <foreign>viku haji</foreign> in chapter 4 of the <ref target="https://dharmalekha.info/texts/CritEdSiksaKandangKaresian">Siksa Kandaṅ Karəsian</ref>.</p>

The reading of the text is still to uncertain on too many points to propose a translation with any degree of confidence. The expression kavi haji, here apparently expressing the number 8, is reminiscent of viku haji in chapter 4 of the Siksa Kandaṅ Karəsian.
