Translation

(1–3) Success! Homage to the Bhagavant, the best of all beings, the Perfect Buddha! In the 19th year of Great King Māṭharīputta Siri-Vīrapurisadatta of the Ikṣvākus, in the 4th fortnight of the hot season, on the 13th day.

(3–11) By Saṅghila, grandson of the notable (gahapati) Saṅghila resident of Dhaññakaḍa, son of Vairavāniya, by his mother Dhammavānikinī, and by his brother Nāgilannaka, his sister Budhannikā, by Samudannika’s wife Sāgarannikā, by his brother’s wife Saṅghannikā, by his sons Vairasirinnaka, Canda ..., Nāgilannaka, by his daughters Dhammannikā ... and Nāgasammannikā — in this way together with relatives, friends and relations ... in the city, the great ...
