Commentary

The inscription is engraved above the entrance of the rock shelter at Tham In Sua, directly onto the rock. It is accompanied by three other inscriptions distributed across the same rock surface (K. 1641-2, K. 1641-3 and K. 1641-4; all of which are located further east than the one published here).

The inscription was not fully completed, as the preparatory dotted guide marks made by the lapicide’s tool are visible.
