<p>Contrary to George Cœdès’s edition, this Old Khmer line should not be regarded as a “seventeenth line” of <ref target="DHARMA_INSCIK00176-1.xml">K. 176-1</ref>. It is in fact engraved inside the central panel of the rock-cut bas-relief at Poeng Komnu and is positioned above one of the ascetics of the <foreign>saptarṣi</foreign> frieze.</p>

Commentary
Contrary to George Cœdès’s edition, this Old Khmer line should not be regarded as a “seventeenth line” of K. 176-1. It is in fact engraved inside the central panel of the rock-cut bas-relief at Poeng Komnu and is positioned above one of the ascetics of the saptarṣi frieze.
