[…] la douzième nuit, dans la quinzaine obscure, la lune du mois de Jyeṣṭha s’étant levée au delà de la Balance, en l’année 614 révolue, cette Devī a été érigée par un médecin.

A cette déesse, dont le nom fameux, Śrī Vidyādhāriṇī, doit être l’objet, dans le ciel et sur la terre, des constances méditations de ses fidèles, cet homme libéral, doué d’une grande intelligence, et cherchant sur cette terre à obtenir la science, a, en vue de son propre éveil à la connaissance, donné ces divers biens, l’esprit tendu vers la réussite de sa marche dans la bonne voie.

Ayant vécu mille mois, le meilleur des médecins abandonna son corps, le premier jour du mois de Pauṣa, en l’année śaka 629 révolue.
