Hail! Prosperity! In the 11th year ⟨and⟩ the 324th day of ⟨the reign of⟩ king Pārthivendrādhipativarman, we ⟨the members⟩ of the big assembly of Uttaramērucaturvedimaṅkalam, ⟨a village⟩ in its ⟨own⟩ subdivision in Kāliyūr-kōṭṭam ⟨wrote thus⟩. The ⟨following⟩ lands were given by Villavaṉ-Mahādeviyār, the queen of the lord (i.e., the king), for the image and for the śrīkōvil, which she had set up to the god (perumāṉaṭikaḷ) of Tiruvayodhyai in our village and for śrībali and arcanābhoga:—one thousand seven hundred and sixty kuḻis in all, of first rate ⟨land⟩ in the fourth, fifth and sixth śadukkam ⟨situated⟩ north of ⟨the channel called⟩ Sarasvati-vāykkāl of the first kaṇṇāṟu to the west of ⟨the path called⟩ Uttaramēru-vati; seven hundred and forty kuḻis of first rate ⟨land⟩ in the fifth catukkam of the second kaṇṇāṟu ⟨situated⟩ to the west of ⟨the path called⟩ Amaninārāyaṇa-vati south of ⟨the path called⟩ Vayiramēka-vati; ⟨and⟩ four hundred and twenty kuḻis of first rate ⟨land⟩ in the second catukkam to the west of ⟨the path called⟩ Avaninārāyaṇa-vati of the fourth kaṇṇāṟu ⟨situated⟩ to the south of ⟨the path called⟩ Vayiramēka-vati.

⟨2⟩ We, ⟨the members⟩ of the big assembly, having received pūrvācāram from queen Villavaṉ-Mahādeviyār ordered the total ⟨extent⟩ of ⟨these⟩ two thousand nine hundred and twenty kuḻis ⟨of land⟩ to be free from taxes as long as the moon and sun ⟨last⟩. The śraddhāmantas themselves shall impose a fine of twenty-five kaḻañcus of gold on those who obstruct this charity. The dust of the sacred feet of those who protect this charity shall be on the glorious crown of Villavaṉ-Mahādeviyār who founded this charity. Those who are opposed to this charity shall incur the sins of those who have committed ⟨sins⟩ between Gaṅgā and Kumari. We, ⟨the members⟩ of the big assembly of Uttaramallūr-caturvedimaṅkalam having made ⟨the lands⟩ tax-free, had this donation engraved on stone. I, Śivadāsaṉ Aiyāyirattirunūṟṟuva-Brahmapriyaṉ, the arbitrator, being ⟨present⟩ in the big assembly, wrote ⟨this⟩ at the command of the big assembly. Prosperity !

<p>Hail! Prosperity! In the 11th year <supplied reason="subaudible">and</supplied> the 324th day of <supplied reason="subaudible">the reign of</supplied> king Pārthivendrādhipativarman, we <supplied reason="subaudible">the members</supplied> of the big assembly of Uttaramērucaturvedimaṅkalam, <supplied reason="subaudible">a village</supplied> in its <supplied reason="subaudible">own</supplied> subdivision in Kāliyūr-kōṭṭam <supplied reason="subaudible">wrote thus</supplied>. The <supplied reason="subaudible">following</supplied> lands were given by Villavaṉ-Mahādeviyār, the queen of the lord <supplied reason="explanation"><hi rend="italic">i.e.</hi>, the king</supplied>, for the image and for the <foreign>śrīkōvil</foreign>, which she had set up to the god <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>perumāṉaṭikaḷ</foreign></supplied> of Tiruvayodhyai in our village and for <foreign>śrībali</foreign> and <foreign>arcanābhoga:</foreign>—one thousand seven hundred and sixty <foreign>kuḻi</foreign>s in all, of first rate <supplied reason="subaudible">land</supplied> in the fourth, fifth and sixth <foreign>śadukkam</foreign> <supplied reason="subaudible">situated</supplied> north of <supplied reason="subaudible">the channel called</supplied> Sarasvati-vāykkāl of the first <foreign>kaṇṇāṟu</foreign> to the west of <supplied reason="subaudible">the path called</supplied> Uttaramēru-vati; seven hundred and forty <foreign>kuḻi</foreign>s of first rate <supplied reason="subaudible">land</supplied> in the fifth <foreign>catukkam</foreign> of the second <foreign>kaṇṇāṟu</foreign> <supplied reason="subaudible">situated</supplied> to the west of <supplied reason="subaudible">the path called</supplied> Amaninārāyaṇa-vati south of <supplied reason="subaudible">the path called</supplied> Vayiramēka-vati; <supplied reason="subaudible">and</supplied> four hundred and twenty <foreign>kuḻi</foreign>s of first rate <supplied reason="subaudible">land</supplied> in the second <foreign>catukkam</foreign> to the west of <supplied reason="subaudible">the path called</supplied> Avaninārāyaṇa-vati of the fourth <foreign>kaṇṇāṟu</foreign> <supplied reason="subaudible">situated</supplied> to the south of <supplied reason="subaudible">the path called</supplied> Vayiramēka-vati.</p>

<p n="2">We, <supplied reason="subaudible">the members</supplied> of the big assembly, having received <foreign>pūrvācāram</foreign> from queen Villavaṉ-Mahādeviyār ordered the total <supplied reason="subaudible">extent</supplied> of <supplied reason="subaudible">these</supplied> two thousand nine hundred and twenty <foreign>kuḻi</foreign>s <supplied reason="subaudible">of land</supplied> to be free from taxes as long as the moon and sun <supplied reason="subaudible">last</supplied>. The <foreign>śraddhāmanta</foreign>s themselves shall impose a fine of twenty-five <foreign>kaḻañcu</foreign>s of gold on those who obstruct this charity. The dust of the sacred feet of those who protect this charity shall be on the glorious crown of Villavaṉ-Mahādeviyār who founded this charity. Those who are opposed to this charity shall incur the sins of those who have committed <supplied reason="subaudible">sins</supplied> between Gaṅgā and Kumari. We, <supplied reason="subaudible">the members</supplied> of the big assembly of Uttaramallūr-caturvedimaṅkalam having made <supplied reason="subaudible">the lands</supplied> tax-free, had this donation engraved on stone. I, Śivadāsaṉ Aiyāyirattirunūṟṟuva-Brahmapriyaṉ, the arbitrator, being <supplied reason="subaudible">present</supplied> in the big assembly, wrote <supplied reason="subaudible">this</supplied> at the command of the big assembly. Prosperity !</p>
