In the 2nd year of ⟨the reign of⟩ king Partma (i.e., Pārthivēndra)-Mahārāja who took the head of Vīra-Pāṇḍya [10+] Uttaramērucaturve[dimaṅkalam] ⟨situated⟩ in its ⟨own⟩ subdivision in Kāliyūrkōṭṭam. Two hundred and forty kuḻis of second rate ⟨land⟩ in the first catukkam ⟨situated⟩ to the west of ⟨the path called⟩ [Utta]ramēru-vati [5+]; five hundred and sixty kuḻis of first rate ⟨land⟩ in this same place [7+]; in this same place [7+] of first rate areca ⟨land⟩ in the fifth catukkam ⟨situated⟩ to the west of ⟨the path called⟩ Amaṉināraṇa-vati of the fifteenth kaṇṇāṟu [8+] We ⟨the members⟩ of the big assembly ordered ⟨to be⟩ [tax-free] [4+] Those who obstruct this ⟨charity shall be liable to pay⟩ a fine of 25 kaḻañcus of gold to the seat of justice [8+] I, Śivadāsaṉ Brahmapriyaṉ, an arbitrator (madhyastha) of this village, being in the assembly wrote ⟨this⟩ at the command of the members of the assembly. The sacred watch of the image of this god and [6+] we ⟨the residents⟩ of the village (ūrōm) agreed that we shall not receive any kind of taxes [5+] shall themselves pay to this god every kind ⟨of tax⟩. Those who act against this [4+] Gaṅgā (the Ganges) [5+]
