(1) Prosperity! Fortune!

(1) 12th year of the king Parakesarivarman who took Maturai.

(1–3) This is the manner (pāric’ āvatu), in which, We, the members of the assembly of Uttirameruccaturvvedimaṅgala, made a deliberation / settlement (vyavasthai), according to a royal order (śrī-mukha-p paṭi)1, Tattanūr Mūvēntavēḷāṉ sitting [with us], as per order (āñai-y-iṉ-āl), so as to establish (iṭuvataṟku2), from this year onwards, [in] our village, as committees (vāriyam-āka), one time (oru-k-kālum) per year (āṭṭu), the annual committee (samvatsara-vāriyam), the garden committee (tōṭṭa-vāriyam), and the tank committee (ēri-vāriyam).
