<p>
<!-- The editors did not give any date and stated that "the translation is more or less conjectural". The deciphering was done by V. Venkayya. The inscription runs from the bottom to the top (p. 1151). Buduraju Radha Krishna supposes that the inscription was written in ca. 650 A.D. because of its being written in "cālukyan script" (f.n. 45 referring to f.n. 43). Since (according to my knowledge) the inscription has not been noted in A. R. and no picture was printed in NI, Radha Krishna must have consulted the original, yet does not give his own reading or corrections.
The ruler might actually be a ruler of the 10th or 11th century.
The number of the characters missing was given according to the number of dots in the edition.-->
