Translation

1st slab

⟨1–3⟩ Pyramid built [by] A. S. Ayassamy & Co.

⟨4⟩ 1888.

2nd slab

⟨1–4⟩ This gopura [is] a pious donation (tarumam¹) [of/by] Ye. Cu. Ayyācāmi Piḷḷai [and] company (kampeṉiyār²).

Commentary

The blocks are (in 2025) on the top of the compound wall on both sides of the gopura. Old pictures show that they were originally on the gopura itself and moved from there when renovation took place in 2004.
