(1) Prosperity! Fortune!

(1–6) I, Veṭṭummārapāṇaṉ, ... have given ...

(6–7) He who does harm (aṟakkuṉāṉ) to this pious donation (it-tan·mattai) will fall into the sin of (piramavattiyilē¹) of he who kills a tawny cow on the bank of the Ganges.

(7–8) This [donation is under] the protection of the Paṉmāheśvaras.

(8) Let there be prosperity!

(8) To who knows virtue, other than virtue, there is no refuge/help.
