Translation

⟨1⟩ Prosperity! Fortune!

⟨1–2⟩ In the glorious name of the king Rājendracōḻa, ⟨this is⟩ the glorious surrounding hall (maṇṭakam¹) that Jakkiyappai, daughter of Tribhuvana of Iṭṭakirai, had built below (kīḻ²) the Cūḻkal hill (cūḻkal-malai), alias the golden mountain (kanaka-parvata), in the Kaṭampaṉākkaināṭu.

Commentary

Inscription engraved in circle around the a lotus figure sculpted on a ceiling. In the middle of the petal is another inscription (EC 10 Kl 116) stating that Jakeya, son of Tribhuvanayya and thus brother of Jakkiyappai, had this lotus figure made.
