Commentary

The final two formulaic stanzas are examples of Sanskrit Stanzas written in both alternating Grantha and Tamil scripts, with, as a result, some metrical irregularity in respect of Sanskrit prosody, like for instance mattiyē for madhye, tuvikuṇam for dviguṇam. Note also dāṉā cēyo for dānāc chreyo and niśvalam for niṣphalaṁ.
