⟨1⟩ Prosperity! In the twenty-ninth year ⟨of the reign⟩ of king Parakēsarivarman who conquered Madirai,―when cattle were lifted1 ⟨at⟩ Mukkuṭṭūr by the Perumānaḍigal―Vadu(nav)āraṉ (Va)ratan T(āṇ)ṭaṉ, having recovered ⟨them⟩, fell.
Translation
⟨1⟩ Prosperity!
⟨1–4⟩ Twenty-ninth year of the king Parakesarivarman who took Maturai.
⟨4–12⟩ When Perumāṉaṭikaḷ seized cattle ⟨in⟩ Mukkuṭṭūr, He who fell recovering ⟨it⟩ is Vatunavāraṉ Varataṉ Tāṇṭaṉ.
