(1) Prosperity! In the twenty-ninth year [of the reign] of king Parakēsarivarman who conquered Madirai,―when cattle were lifted1 [at] Mukkuṭṭūr by the Perumānaḍigal―Vadu(nav)āraṉ (Va)ratan T(āṇ)ṭaṉ, having recovered [them], fell.

(1–4) Twenty-ninth year of the king Parakesarivarman who took Maturai.

(4–12) When Perumāṉaṭikaḷ seized cattle [in] Mukkuṭṭūr, He who fell recovering [it] is Vatunavāraṉ Varataṉ Tāṇṭaṉ.
