(1–2) On the day of makam1 which coincides with (peṟṟa2) ...

(2–4) [This is] the manner in which We, the villagers in Maṇali in the Puḻaṟnāṭu, having [had] engraved3, we made a donation to the glorious treasury of the Lord, Lord of Tiruvoṟṟiyūr, in the Puḻaṟkōṭṭam, in the Jayaṅkoṇṭacōḻamaṇṭalam.

(5–11) We, the villagers in Maṇali, having [had] engraved ..., we made a donation.
