Commentary
The record consists of two parts and is incised between the two inner chambers in the cave. During the fieldtrip in January 2023, I observed that the whole text was anointed by devotees living in the cave.
Beglar 1882, p. 90 who first noticed this inscription gives the following reading: “Sri acārya Kula Candra, the disciple of Saha Candra Katuriji, *** rest oblitared; another Sri Sravaki Vi***”.
