· to the lord Sādhāraṇa minister in chief, offspring of the Lord Śobhana, belonging to the Bharadvāja gotra, the best <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>pravara</foreign></supplied> among the descendants of Aṅgiras, Br̥haspati and Bharadvāja sages, issued from the Mādhyandina school, residing in Turvvunā after having immigrating from Ṭṭākkārikā, after pouring water in the middle of the river Dhārājilā <supplied reason="explanation">flowing</supplied> south of Rampepa, in order to increase the merit and the fame of our two parents as well as our own ones, <supplied reason="subaudible">as permanent endowment</supplied> to be enjoyed in perpetuity as long as the moon, the sun and the stars <supplied reason="subaudible">will last</supplied>, after having edicted this by a copperplate on the auspicious occasion of a total eclipse of the moon.

405 <p n="15-20">And the latter <supplied reason="explanation">i.e. Sādhāraṇa</supplied> gives also for a future and pure benefit this village situated on this bank after having divided it into eight parts. Three parts are given to his own temple constructed Suvarṇāpura called Śrījalaśayana devoted to the God Nārāyaṇabhaṭṭārakā for the purpose of <foreign>bali</foreign>, <foreign>caru</foreign> and <foreign>naivedya</foreign> offerings, the purpose of the services and the repairs of the temple and for the purpose of worships. The remaining five parts are given away in equal shares to the learned twice-born endowed with recitation and reading, all fives furnished with well-thought conduct <supplied reason="explanation">as follows:</supplied></p>
· <p n="20-27">two parts for the two sons of Ṛṣis, the <foreign>bhaṭṭaputra</foreign> Nārāyaṇa and Māṇikya, studying the <title>Ṛgveda</title>, the best among the descendants of the <supplied reason="explanation">sages</supplied> Atri, Arcananāśa et Śyavāśva, belonging to the Kr̥ṣṇā <foreign>gotra</foreign>, hailing from Śilāpuñjā and residents of Taṁṭavāṅga;
· one part for the son of Kusumagarbha, the <foreign>bhaṭṭaputra</foreign> named Vedagarbha, student of the Bahvr̥ca school, the best among the Aṅgirasa, Br̥haspatya, Bharadvāja, Gunya and Garga <supplied reason="explanation">sages</supplied>, belonging to the Gargya <foreign>gotra</foreign>, hailing from the Parasāra property and resident of Korājaṅga;
· then one part for the son of Amr̥takara, the <foreign>bhaṭṭaputra</foreign> named Kapardi, studying <title>Ṛgveda</title>, the best among the descendants of Kaśyapa, Avacchāra and Nidhruva, belonging to the Parāśara <foreign>gotra</foreign>, issued fom the province of Dhānya;

· <p n="27-31">This will be so: that village is also given to the Lord Nārāyaṇabhaṭṭāraka by these venerable twice born men in order to increase the merit and the fame of their two parents as well as their own ones. After having considered this <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>iti</foreign></supplied>, thanks to our acquisition, the enjoyments, the parts, the taxes, the gold etc… should easily remain appropriate and the future kings must protect this gift of Us out of the respect of Dharma and out of Our consideration as it was their own gift.

Trois parts sont données pour son temple construit à Suvarṇāpura du nom de Śrījalaśayana dédié au dieu Nārāyaṇabhaṭṭārakā dans le but de fournir les offrandes <foreign>bali</foreign> et <foreign>caru</foreign>, les offrandes quotidiennes aux dieux <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>naivedya</foreign></supplied>, pour le service et la réparation des fissures du temple, pour la réalisation des cultes.
