· <p>This states that at the instance of the chief <hi rend="bold">Paḻuvēṭṭaraiyar Maṟavaṉ Kaṇḍaṉār</hi>, the <hi rend="italic">nagarattār</hi> of Avanigandharvvapuram had it engraved on stone that all the taxes (<hi rend="italic">maṉṟupāḍu</hi>) in this village might be accepted on the model of those prevailing at Nandipuram from olden times (See No. 215 below). This is evidently an inscription of <hi rend="bold">Sundara-Chōḷa.</hi></p>
