(1) Hail! Prosperity!

(1) Above [is] the glorious true fame (śrī-meykkīrtti).1

(1) 14th year of the king Sundara Pāṇḍya (cuntara-pāṇṭiya-tēvar), the emperor of the three worlds (tiripuvaṉa-c-cakkara-varttikaḷ2) alias king Caṭaipaṉmar3.

(1–4) We, the civappirāmaṇar (śivabrāhmaṇas) that belong to the 30-day service (muppatu vaṭṭam), [are now] owners of the land of the temple of this god [agreed with] village officials (ūr mutalikaḷ) of Cōḻakulavalli Nallūr, land managers (kaṭavār), royal accountants (irāca kaṇkāṇi), śaiva ascetics (śrīmākēcurar) and [those belonging to] the Lord Āticaṇṭēcuratēvar of the temple of god Tirukkaṇṇicuram-uṭaiyār, [being the former] owner (uṭaiyāṉ) Meyūr Milaiyaṅkiḻāṉ Aḻakiya Tirucciṟṟampalam from Cōḻakulavalli Nallūr and Maṉṟil Kuṉikkum Perumāṉ, alias Apimāṉa Tuṅka Pallavaraiyar.

(5–6) In the endowment (kaṭṭaḷaiyil) for god Tirukkaṇṇicuram, it is said that land is given (v-iṭṭa nilam) so that the ownership of the land (kāṇi-y-āka nilam) made in the name (tirunāmam) of this deity is a right (kāṇi) [now] given to them, who have undertaken the endowment (upaiyaṅ koṇṭa) after they bought (pakkal) it from us for the festival (canti) of Paḻiyil Pukaḻāḷaṉ, that is, the ceremony of waking up (tiruppaḷḷi eḻucci) this god.

(6–8) Today, being the 13th year, the land which is sold (vilaikoṇṭa) becomes property (kāṇi) in the name (tirunāmam) of this god. The land is bought (pakkal) by land-owners (uṭaiyār) including (uḷḷiṭṭār) Villavaṉ Viḻupparaiyar. [This land has the following boundaries:] the west border is to the west of the fourth of land, that is, a former (paḻam) property (kāṇi) in the name (tirunāmam) of this god; the east border is adjacent to the sixth of land; the northern boundary borders a plot of land (cattiram) that starts in the sixth channel (aṟāṅ kaṇṇāṟṟu) to the north of the Maturāntaka channel (vāykkāl), west of the Cōḻakulavalli cross channel (vati).

(9) The land that is given (v-iṭṭa) so that the ownership (kāṇi) in the name of this god becomes property (kāṇiyāy) of them, that is (āy), a land that from the center to the east is one . A land sold (vilai koṇṭa) so that the property rights in the name of god (tirunāmattukkāṇi) become the property rights (kāṇi) of them, that is, the land which is in the central region (naṭuvupaṭṭa) to the east of one .

(9–11) The land for the flower garden (tirunantavāṉam) with growing creepers, [formerly] the property (kāṇi) in the name (tirunāmam) of this god [has the following borders:] to the east is the southern plot of land (catiram) that starts in the sixth channel (aṟāṅ kaṇṇāṟṟu) to the north of the Maturāntaka channel (vāykkāl), west of the R cross channel (vati).
