(1–2) According to the pious edict (dharma-śāsana) in favour of the Lord Kailācanātar1 that Vēṅkaṭattiri Attaṉ, alias the officer (kaṟtar) for [sacred] services (kāriyam) of the glorious ... king Tirumalai ... and the trustees (sthāṉattar) [of] the Temple of Kāmākṣiyammaṉ, so tha there be (āka) merit for king Tirumalai, the great king, the boundaries to place (for) Kāmākṣiyammaṉ, are [as follows]: ...

(2) In the land comprised within these four boudaries ... there should be ...

(2) For daily ... of oil in the glorious Temple of Kāmākṣiyammaṉ ... there should be ...

(2) If there are persons who do harm (akitam) [to this donation, they will incur] the sin of killing a tawny cow on the bank of the Ganges.
