(1–3) The glorious Siṃhavarman, junior son, crown prince according to the dharma, of [the family of] the Pallavas […] orders the villagers of Puḷusulūra in the vicinity of the temple of Angūṟeśvara in the Hiraṇyarāṣṭra and all the naiyogikas and vallabhas in charge there [as follows:]

(3–8) By us, [this village of] Puḻusulūra [is given] to the Brahmins residing in […], that is,

to Anantaśarman, Brahma[…],¹ and […]śarman² of the gotra of the Māṇḍavyas and the Vājasaneya school,
and to both […]śarman and […]śarman of the gotra of the Bhāradvājas (and of the Taittirīya school),
