Commentary

This fragment is possibly to be considered with another fragment (INSPallava00358) as two parts of a single inscription.

According to Mahalingam 1988, p. xc Nṛpacūḷāmaṇi is probably an epithet of Mahendravarman I. The palaeography however points towards one of his successors.
