Translation

⟨1–5⟩ ⟨This is⟩ the stone ⟨of⟩ he who fell (paṭṭāru1) when Kuṉṟakkaṭṭi, a relative (makkaḷ) ⟨of⟩ , seized cattle when being (iruntu) in Mēṟkoṉṟaināṭu, on the northern bank of the Peṇṇai ⟨river⟩.
