Translation

⟨1–5⟩ … ⟨This is⟩ the stone ⟨of⟩ he who fell (paṭṭāru¹) when Kuṉṟakkaṭṭi, a relative (makkaḷ) ⟨of⟩ …, seized cattle … when being (iruntu) … in Mēṟkoṉṟaināṭu, on the northern bank of the Peṇṇai ⟨river⟩.
