Translation

⟨1–4⟩ Tirthy-eight ⟨year⟩ of the victorious king Mayintiraparumaṉ.1

⟨4–9⟩ ⟨This is⟩ the stone ⟨of⟩ Kākaṇṭi Aṇṇāvaṉ, the servant of Poṉṉarampaṉār, he who fell recapturing (iṭuvittu2) cattle when Kantaviṇṇaṉār, the nephew of the royal Bāṇa king seized cattle ⟨in⟩ kūṭal.

⟨10–12⟩ ⟨This is⟩ stone that the ¿people? (iḷa-makkaḷ3) of Kūṭal had planted.
