(1–2) Seventeenth [year] of the victorious king Mahendravarman1.

(2–8) [This is] the stone [of] Nantiyār of Vēṇāṭu, he who fell rescuing (mīṭṭu) [cattle] when the servant of Poṟcēntiyāṉ, the nephew of Īcai Perumpāṇaraicar [of] Āntaipāṭi in Mīvēṇāṭu, seized cattle.
