⟨1–3⟩ Fourteenth [year] of the victorious king Macīntiraparumaṉ.¹

⟨3–18⟩ [This is] the stone [of] Kaṭṭaṅkaṉṉār ― the son of Koṟṟavāciṟ² Karucāttaṉār, who rules over Karuṅkālipāṭi in Mīvēṇāṭu³ ―, he who fell (paṭṭār) fighting (eṟintu) with Poṟpāṉaṉṉār, one of the people / the son (makkaḷ) of Naripaḷḷi Vīravāṇṇaraiyar, the servant of Poṟkāṭāṉṉār⁴.⁵
