(2–3) 2nd year of the glorious Vayiramēkavarman1.

(3–16) ... we, the village delegates of Palkalam.

(16–18) To him, we have given whatever ...

(18–22) We have given ...

(22–26) We have given ...

(26) We have given [so], we, the village delegates of Palkalam.

(27) The glorious feet of he who protects this pious act are on my head.

(27–28) He who destroy this pious act befalls in the sin of he does [sin] in the space [between] Ganges and Kanyā.

(28–29) These are the writng of Iḷaṅkāvaṉ, the son of the great carpenter [of this] stone temple2.
