(1) Prosperity! Fortune!

(1–2) Eighteenth year of the victorious king Aparājitavikramavarman.

(2–8) The land which Nampi Appi bought (vilaikkuk koṇṭa1) for the god of the Tiruvīraṭṭāṉam at Tiruttaṇiyal from the cultivators of this village, ...

(8–12) We have become ...

(12–14) If we do not do [so], we have become those who will incur a fine of a quarter gold (kār poṉ) daily to the then ruling king.

(14–15) We have become ..., we , the members of the assembly.

(15–16) We have become those wo got the sin done by he who does [sin] between the Ganges and Kumari ...

(16–18) Otherwise, let the feet of the members of the assembly of Tiruttaṇiyal who protect this pious act be on my head!
