(1) Prosperity! Fortune!

(1–4) Twenty-fifth year of the victorious king Kampavarman.

(4–8) The manner in which we the Tirunāmakkiḻavars1 of Uḻaiccēri in this village solemnly guarantee to Pūcālivāmaṉaṉ of Ūṟṟukkāṭu.

(9–12) So as to burn a perpetual lamp, we shall burn one perpetual lamp daily with the gold he has given.

(12–17) We shall [also] burn two day lamps ... for the duration of one cāmam [with the income] from a field in Āṉaippulam, which he made a devabhoga.

(17–19) We shall provide at night glorious food-offerings through three nāḻis of paddy

(19–23) These three lamps and this one glorious food-offerings shall be ... up to the extent of the moon and the sun.

(23–25) If we deviate from this, the Māheśvaras […]
