(1) Tenth year of the victorious king ¿Kampavikra?mavarman.

(1–2) Writing/Writ of I, ¿Kuravaśiri? Agnica¿rmakramavittacōmāc?i, [one] among the governing delegates (āḷuṅ kaṇattār-uḷ) of ¿Uttaramerucatur?vedimaṅgala in Kāliyūrk¿kōṭtam?

(2–3) the ¿fourth? plot (pāṭakam); […] that come from the two hundred forty kuḻis, ¿which is our? plot [on] ¿the bank of the Kaṇavativākkāṉ? (tank), ¿south of the village, west of Parameśvaravati?

(3–4) So that, ¿each and every year? (Āṭṭāṇṭu-tōṟum) ¿the great men of the supervision [committee]? (vāriya-p-peru-makkaḷē) for the Vajramegha tank be those who graciously (āṭṭuvittu prasādam ceyvarkaḷ, literally "those of do the grace") ¿supervise? (kaṭai-k-kaṇṭu) the silt removing (kuḻi-vāyil āṭṭuvittu, literally “having removing made at the mouth of the tank”) ¿I, Agnicarmakramavittaccōmāśi, have given? (vaittēṉ) ¿this plot? (ip-pāṭakam).
