(1) Ninth year of the victorious king Kampavarman.

(1–2) Regulation (vyavasthā) that We, the members of the assembly of Uttiramērucaturvedimaṅgala, in the Kāliyūrkkōṭṭam and the division of the same name, have made.

(2–8) TO BE ADDED!

(8–9) He who does whether the sale [of] this or orders [to sell it] will be [considered] one who does harm the village management (grāmakārya).

(9–10) TO BE ADDED!

(10–11) In this wise, have we ordered/declared, We, the members of the assembly.

(11) As they (that is, the members of the assembly) ordered, I, Tiruvaṭikaḷ, wrote [this].
