(1) Prosperity! Fortune!

(1) Eighth year of the victorious king Kampavarman.

(1) Writ/Writings of Us, the members of the assembly of Uttaramerucaturvedimaṅgala in the Kāliyūrkkōṭṭam [and] in the same division.

(1–4) The honourable Agnicittasarvakratu [of] Kumuḻūr, [one] among the governing delegates (āluṅ kaṇattar-uḷ) [of] our village, having sold (viṟṟu-k- koṇṭu) two plots owned [by him] (uṭaiya Iraṇṭu pāṭakamum), for the Mahādeva of Puliyūr in the southern ¿hamlet? (piṭākai) in our village, from a share of ¿the glorious master? (kurava-śrī-) and honourable Narasiṁhacaturvediccōmāci, with (koṇṭu) the wealth (dravya) from this honourable Agnicittasarvakratu, we have become those who will give and secure (kāttu) the taxes, of whatsoever kind, that come through these two plots, We, the members of the assembly.

(4) As the members of the assembly have ordered, I, Muḷḷūraṉ, the great carpenter of the glorious Pāṭakam, wrote [this].
