(1) Prosperity! Fortune!

(2–5) Second year of Kampavarman.

(6–9) We, the villagers of Porpontai in the Kuṟumpuraināṭu in the Kaḷattūrkkōṭṭam.

(10–19) To Valiyāṇai of our village, for the great tank of Malaiveḷḷam, we have given, after purchase, as a pious act, one kāṭi of paddy per paṭṭi.

(19–27) We who [...], we have become those who incur a fine of twenty-four kāṇams⟩1 at the dharmāsana.

(27–31) We who [...], we have become those who incur the sin of he who destroys Kaccippēṭu.

(31–34) The feet of he who protects this pious act are on my head.
