Translation

⟨1⟩ Prosperity! !

⟨1–4⟩ Twenty-sixth year of the victorious king (Nirupa)toṅkavikkirama(parumar).¹

⟨4–10⟩ When the Nuḷampaṉ came ⟨with⟩ his army upon Āmaiyūr, in the Mēlaṭaiyārunāṭu in the Paṭuvūrkkōṭṭam, and seized cattle, Caṉaṉ, the son of Akalaṅkattuvarāyar, a kāviti of …, a servant of Pirutikaṅkaraiyar, ⟨fought⟩ relentlessly (taḷarā), fell and died.
