Translation

⟨1⟩ Prosperity! Fortune!

⟨1–2⟩ Sixteenth year of the victorious king Nantivikkiramaparumaṉ.1

⟨3–10⟩ The gold that Maṟavam Pūti alias Teṉṉavaṉ Iḷa[ṅkō Vēḷār] gave for burning day and night, as long as the moon and the sun, one perpetual lamp for Mātēvar2 of the Ti[ruvīraṭṭā]ṉam of Tirukkōvalūr in the Kuṟukkaikkūṟṟam of Malāṭu [is] twenty-four kaḻañcus by weight (niṟai) of refined gold (tī-p-pōkku cem-poṉ) [as per the standard named] Viṭēlvituku.

⟨10–14⟩ So as to provide one uri of ghee ... the interest from this [gold] has been given in the hands of the Nakarattārs of Tirukkōvalūr.
