Apparatus

⟨1⟩ kāliyū • The inscription stops short here (Subrahmanya Aiyer 1928, p. 158, n. 1). Evidently kāliyūr-k-kōṭṭatu was intended, followed presumably by taṉ kūṟṟu Uttaramēru-c-caturvvetimaṅkalattu sabhaiyōm or a variant of it. Compare other inscriptions from Uttiramērūr.

Translation by Emmanuel Francis

(1) Prosperity! Fortune!

(1) Tenth year of the victorious king Dantivikramavarman.
