· <p>Fortune! Prosperity! This is the 12th year opposite to one <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>etirāmāṇṭu</foreign></supplied> of Kōirājakesarivarman. Of the temple <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>gṛhattu</foreign></supplied> of the Lord <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>īśvara</foreign></supplied> <supplied reason="subaudible">of</supplied> Avaṉikandhavva, a <foreign>devadāna</foreign> of Kuṉṟakkūṟṟam, we the Devakanmikaḷs <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>devakanmikaḷōm</foreign></supplied>, we the Patipātamūlams <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>patipātamūlamōmum</foreign></supplied>, we the Paṭṭuṭaiyārs <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>paṭṭuṭaiyōmum</foreign></supplied>, we the Camaiyars <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>camaiyattōmum</foreign></supplied>,<note>Devakanmikaḷ or Tēvakaṉmikaḷ: those who perform the religious duty of god/officials of god/ temple officials; Patipātamūlam: the root of the feet of the Lord/priests/officials of the main shrine; Paṭṭuṭaiyārs: some kind of priests or temple officials; Camaiyars<foreign>:</foreign> those of the religious creed <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>camayam</foreign></supplied>/the religious ones/those of the religious text-books.</note> and, besides <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>maṟṟum</foreign></supplied>, whoever <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>eppērppaṭṭōmum</foreign></supplied> have shares in this temple <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>ittaḷi paṅkuṭaiyōm</foreign></supplied>; Aṭikaḷ Paḻuvēṭṭaraiyar Maṟavaṉ Kaṇṭanār graciously ordered <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>aruḷceyyum</foreign>, lit. graciously made</supplied>; to Veṭṭakkuṭaiyāṉ Kovintaṉ Kaṭampaṉ of Poykaikkuṟuviṭam, without removing the labourers <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>kuṭi nīkkā</foreign></supplied>,<note>It is not settled whether there is a physical eviction of the previous tenants or if only their rights were revoked.
