(1) Benediction

(1–9) As the victorious rule of Āhavamalla-deva — the refuge of the entire world, lord of the earth, king of kinds, supreme lord, most venerable, ornament to the Satyāśraya family, ornament to the Cāḷukyas — was growing, attaining new heights of prosperity; as long as the moon, sun, and stars exist in the sky, on Thursday, the 5th day of the bright fortnight of Vaiśākha in the Vikrama Samvatsara of the year śaka 903 [he distributed] the previous tax-exempt land of the agrahāra of Kañcagara Belgali, according to the (measure of the) large stick in use [as follows:] 18 matta for the three Śiva temples, 6 matta for the ¿local goddess, Bhaḷāri?, 6 matta for the constable, these 6 matta for the royal official these 8 matta for the local administrator, these 8 matta for the goddess, Ambige and for the ¿watchman of the village? these 12 matta; thus [he] was maintaining all of this in accordance with his prescribed duty.

IX–XI
This [grant] which is a bridge of dharma for kings, from time to time is to be maintained by you, all the kings who are partaking of it, [as] requested again and again by Rāmabhadra.
XI–XIII
Whether given by oneself or another, he who robs/destroys that which is another’s, for sixty thousand years he will be born as a worm in excrement
