Commentary
The solar elements Tuṅle Pahiṅ Śukra coincide on 28 December 904, while according to the Sūryasiddhānta, the third day of the waning half of Pauṣya in 826 Śaka was 27 December 905. This kind of one-day discrepancy is common in Old Javanese dating; in line with Damais’ method, we assign this inscription to the date supplied by the solar elements.
