⟨d2⟩ saṅkap· N Tsaṅkab· B. — ⟨d2⟩ vulu B T Nvuluḥ N.

⟨d3⟩ kaḍivas· N Tkaḍiva[1×] B. — ⟨d3⟩ hañaṁ N T[1×]ra B.

⟨d5⟩ Inariṁ ⬦ Inari B N T.

⟨d6⟩ miśāka Atak· Tmiśa[2×]tak· B N • The meaning of miśāka is unclear. We have considered reading viṁśati ‘twenty’ here, and in the difficultly legible parallel in Gulung-gulung e6, which would have made this phrase somewhat analogous to phrases like piṇḍa gaṅan· Iṁ saron· 8 that we find in Sangguran B43 and in several inscriptions issued by Sindok — ⟨d6⟩ sisir· Tsasar· B; pasar· N.

⟨d7⟩ lit-li[t·] ⟨d7⟩ [ga]ṅān· Tlgi [2×]ṅān· B N. — ⟨d7⟩ saranak· Tparanak· B N.

⟨d8⟩ Irah-iraḥ TI[2×]hara B; I[1×]h-iraḥ N. — ⟨d8⟩ tetis· N Ttetə(p)· B.

⟨d10⟩ mana(ha)⟨p⟩ parka ciñca tvak· ⬦ [8×] B; mana[2×]rlva […]ik· N; mana(ha)parka ciñca tvak· T • Cf. Gulung-Gulung e10–11. — ⟨d10⟩ pāṇādi B Nprāṇādi T. — ⟨d10⟩ piṁtiga N(prakāra) B; pitiga T.

⟨d11⟩ tambul· Ttamvul· B N. — ⟨d11⟩ paḍḍīsa T(ṣadḍisa) B; paḍḍisa N • The parallel in Gulung-Gulung e13 is extremely faint and does not help to confirm the reading here of this mysterious. Could it be the OJ antecedent of pedis or petis? Could it be related to the entry paṭiśa in OJED

⟨d13⟩ [ta]danantara B T[1×]anantara N. — ⟨d13⟩ patṅaḥ Tpat[…]ṁ B B; pa(ta) N.

⟨d14⟩ kaṅan· B N T • Cf. Blahaniṅ Aṣṭādaśavyavahāra (45v) kadyāṅganiṅ avasuh taṅan suku

⟨d16⟩ yathāsukha men-men· Tyathāsaka men-men· B N.

⟨d17⟩ kahaḍaṁ N T(taha)ḍa B. — ⟨d17⟩ kapuA B Nkapva T.

⟨d18⟩ mintonakan· guṇanya ⬦ Amintonakan· (va)ṇanya B; mintonakan· (va)taṁnya N; Amintonakan i vaṇaṁnya T • Cf. Sangguran c11. — ⟨d18⟩ vuvus· Nvuvu(p)· B; cucup· T.

⟨d20⟩ kaluṅasu(ḥ) Nk(i) luṅasuḥ B; kaluṅasu T. — ⟨d20⟩ sravaṇa N T(g)ravaṇa B.

Bibliography

We have used Trigangga’s edition (T, 2003: 28–32) as base text, and compared it to the editions by Nakada (N, 1990: 33–51) and Brandes (B, 1913: 76–81, OJO XLIII), as well as the reading furnished by Damais (D, 1955: 180) only for the first 4 lines. (Note that, contrary to the Linggasuntan charter, Trigangga’s 2003 edition for the present charter is not republished in Hasan Djafar & Trigangga 2019.) Our edition was then prepared through direct inspection of the stone at MNI by Eko Bastiawan in January 2022 and in March 2023, benefiting from remote supervision and assistance by Arlo Griffiths.
