Commentary

Three copper plates unearthed in the village of Upalada in the Parlakimedi Taluk, Ganjam district (Orissa). "The record is not dated but may on palaeographical evidence be assigned to the 11th or the 12th century A.D." Grant of a village called Upalabaḍā to one Revaṇa nāyaka by the Rāṇaka śṛī-rāmadeva

The third plate is only used to inscribe four akṣaras
