145 <p rend="stanza" n="1">Being of pure devotion <supplied reason="subaudible">that manifested both</supplied> inside and out, of unassailable conduct, the one treasury of various stratagems, the most excellent of the king’s ministers, very knowledgeable <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>kovidataraḥ</foreign></supplied> in matters of law <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>nyāyeṣu</foreign></supplied> he spread the radiance of his own fame upon the earth like the orb of the full moon.</p>
·<p rend="stanza" n="2">Out of devotion he set down a golden image of himself (?svarūpam) holding up <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>uddharat</foreign></supplied> with his head <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>mūrdhnā</foreign></supplied> the lotus-feet of Śrī Sūryavarmeśvara near the <foreign>liṅga</foreign> in four sacred sites beginning with Śrī Śikharīśvara.</p>
·<p rend="stanza" n="3">At the mountain of Śrī Śikharīśvara, he gave <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>nyadhatta</foreign></supplied>, along with slaves, villages and lands, golden <supplied reason="subaudible">images of</supplied> Nandin and <supplied reason="subaudible">Mahā</supplied>kāla, as though they were incarnate forms of himself split into two <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>dvidhā</foreign></supplied>, <supplied reason="subaudible">since he was</supplied> constantly desirous of giving service in the proximity of Śiva <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>śivāntike</foreign></supplied>.</p>

·<p rend="stanza" n="5">In excellent temple-towers made of stone and rich with brick, <supplied reason="subaudible">richly</supplied> decorated <supplied reason="subaudible">with stucco and painting ?</supplied>, he gave <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>yena</foreign>… <foreign>nyadhāyi</foreign></supplied> to Parameśvara and others numerous <foreign>śivaliṅgas</foreign> and statues for worship <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>arccāḥ</foreign></supplied> with devotion.</p>
150<p rend="stanza" n="6">He gave/set down <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>nyadhatta</foreign></supplied> numerous sculptures of stone and of gold of gods such as Hara <supplied reason="subaudible">and</supplied> numerous golden liṅgas, in temples (? bhavane) such as <supplied reason="subaudible" cert="low">that of the deity</supplied> Phalapriya, and he made sojourns in such places as Bhadreśvara.</p>
·<p rend="stanza" n="7">With joy <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>mudā</foreign></supplied> he gave to Śiva <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>īśe</foreign></supplied> at the appropriate times superlative pūjās, in which offerings were made along with the eighteen constituents, a golden/gilded palanquin, a white parasol, wealth consisting of gold, silver, gems and such, <supplied reason="subaudible">and</supplied> fine ornaments.</p>
