Commentary

Referring to three terms used in the inscription, viz., Poñ (a honorific title), Yajamāna “sacrificer/donor”, and Kpoñ (a honorific title for female deity), Michael Vickery (1998, p. 107) suggests that the inscription is from Ta Keo province like K. 1266 and K. 755.

On the top of the inscribed text, there is a graving of a flourishing lotus with a "string of perls" below it.

Our reading of the glyph of two horizontal strokes in line 17 as the numeral "1/2" is not certain; the glyph should have a vertical stroke on the horizontal strokes.
