<p>The estampage EFEO n. 981 contains only the inscription on the first doorjamb, the right part of which has been erased on the estampage. According to George Cœdès, a Lottin de Laval rubbing of the inscription was made in 1911. About twenty years later, when the inked estampage <supplied reason="explanation">EFEO n. 908</supplied> was made, the right part of the inscription had already been eroded because it might have been used as whetstone.</p>
<p>The <foreign>virāma</foreign>s in the last words in many lines of the first doorjamb are hypothetic; i.e. <foreign>kaṁmratāṅ· Añ·</foreign> in lines 1 and 2, <foreign>kon·</foreign> in line 5, <foreign>vrel·</foreign> in line 7, <foreign>noc·</foreign> in line 8 and <foreign>sliṅ·</foreign> in line 9.</p>
<p n="A5">Regarding the word <foreign>panlas·</foreign>, there is a <foreign>virāma</foreign> on the <foreign>akṣara nla</foreign>.</p>

Commentary
The estampage EFEO n. 981 contains only the inscription on the first doorjamb, the right part of which has been erased on the estampage. According to George Cœdès, a Lottin de Laval rubbing of the inscription was made in 1911. About twenty years later, when the inked estampage (EFEO n. 908) was made, the right part of the inscription had already been eroded because it might have been used as whetstone.
The virāmas in the last words in many lines of the first doorjamb are hypothetic; i.e. kaṁmratāṅ· Añ· in lines 1 and 2, kon· in line 5, vrel· in line 7, noc· in line 8 and sliṅ· in line 9.
(A5) Regarding the word panlas·, there is a virāma on the akṣara nla.
